Sign Up for Scope School

The NJAA is offering a one night "Scope School" course for both members and general public who may be having trouble working their telescopes. Did you get a telescope for Christmas that was more involved than expected? Is it currently serving as a coat rack or just taking up room in a closet? We can help.

Jim Hart is leading a effort to connect people with their telescopes. On Saturday, April 12th starting at 5PM there will be a short presentation on general telescope operation theory followed by a tour of the facility. Scopes will be set up outside while it is still light and a Qualified Observer staff will assist those signed up in learning the ropes. If you are interested we need a little information from you so we can be best prepared to lend a hand. There is no fee for this service, donations would be appreciated by non-members. Please RSVP by April 10th.
